BroadNet panellists at the MEDEA & IFARI event

BroadEU.Net coordinator David Lund was in Athens (Greece) on 30th and 31st October to take part in the joint event of MEDEA and IFAFRI on “Current and Foreseen Security Operations: Challenges and Capability Gaps”. David intervened as a panellists in the panel discussion “Secure Communication system for complex operations”.

Day I of the event focused on MEDEA’s final results and outcomes, while on the second day technological solutions ready to use in different security operations were showcased in the format of a marketplace.

The event targeted practitioners, policy makers, and the industry related to the four following categories:

• “Management of Migration Flows and Asylum seekers”
• “Border management”
• “Fight against cross border crime and terrorism”
• “Natural Hazards and Technological Accidents”
